Associations are seen as the voice of their sector and able to represent all their members at every level. Associations are trusted and central to their industry. This means they can uniquely offer a wide range of information and services nobody else can easily provide in a range of communications methods. This can include collation of sensitive information to provide an industry wide statistical report service, specialist advice, facilitate the opportunity for members to network with their peers at Conferences, Exhibitions and other events whilst they are learning about issues which may affect their business. particularly of a technical or legal and commercial nature , to or the management of a consumer code of conduct.
In today's Real Estate Market across the globe is an organised sector and has a professional approach, but in India the same sector is yet to be organised. The reason could be because of the Indian government has to yet to see this sector as an organised one. Keeping all this factors in mind AREA ( Association of Real Estate Agents ) is incepted to bring an organised networking and system into the professional world of Real Estate in India Under one Roof.
AREA as an association it provides lots of advantages to its members and makes sure that all its members follow the same and they create a network among themselves (Locally, City-wise , State-wise, Nationally & Internationally) to create better and brighter future for everyone. By joining at any level, one gets the benefit of becoming a member of AREA and gets an automatic recognition among all the State Chapters of AREA. This form of networking brings a mutual understanding among everyone and there is no question of getting embittered or taken for granted. The business also develops in a larger and wider scale. Every individual member adheres to strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
To maintain high ethical standards of professional services in the Real Estate profession.
To establish a centre for interaction amongst members and clients and promotion of business as per the high industry standards based on code of ethics.
To establish committee/s for establishing better ways of providing services to the clients as well as to resolve any disputes in the trade of real estate.
To establish a "Code of Ethics" to monitor the business behaviour and practices of members.
To encourage and develop meaningful co-operation amongst persons engaged in the business of Real Estate Agency/ Brokerage and related services trade, directly or indirectly irrespective of caste, colour or creed, on all subjects connecting with and involving their common good.
To undertake short term training programs for the members of the Association with regards to the skill of tested techniques and to exchange new ideas to solve challenging problems to educate the members or persons related to the real-estate trade in the methods principles and standards to be maintained of the trade and in general to acquire a more enlightened perspective on Real Estate matters.
To conduct Conferences, Seminars , Get-Together & Exhibitions ,so that it would help the community of people involved to render better services with standard prescribed by the Society.To secure wherever Possible, Organised and/or Concerned Action Directly or Indirectly on all subjects relating to the interests of parties engaged in the Real Estate profession.
To communicate with Associations of Commerce and Industry and/or other commercial and public bodies throughout India and the world, and concert and promote adopt measure for the protection and/or development of the Real Estate profession.
To collect and disseminate statistical and other information for securing the promotion of the objects of the Society.To establish, maintain and expand a library of books and publications on statistical, commercial, technical, industrial and other general interests so as to diffuse knowledge and information on various aspects of Real Estate, trade, commerce and concert measures for advancing technical and general knowledge in connection with the main object of the Society.
To enlighten the public on all matters relating to Real Estate profession and to pass on information through all available media.To establish, maintain and conduct, finance or subsidise or raise special funds by voluntary contribution for experimental workshops, investigations for establishment of any data statistics, to award any scholarships subsidies lectures seminars conferences, considered likely to assist in the promotion of the Real Estate profession for which this society is established.
To convene when thought necessary or expedient, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, or meetings at such places and at such times as considered desirable so as to further the objects of the Society.
To ensure that all members of the Association co-operate with each other and follow the Rules and Regulations laid down by the Association.
To settle disputes among members arising out of members violating the Rules and Regulations laid down by the Association.
To provide a forum for interaction amongst members to exchange views and ideas.
To provide a forum for the settlement of disputes between the members and clients members and members.
To cause to be written, and printed or otherwise reproduced-and circulated, gratuitously or otherwise, periodicals, magazines, books, leaflets or other documents or films or recorded tapes, either in electronic or the analog or the print media considered desirable to promote the object of the society and the Real Estate profession.
To foster and undertake research into any aspect of the objects of the Society and its work and to disseminate die results of any such research.
To insure and arrange insurance cover for, and to indemnify its officers, servants and voluntary workers and those of its members from and against, all such risks incurred in the course of the performance of their duties as may be thought fit.
To amalgamate with any companies, institutions, societies or associations which are charitable at law and have objects altogether or mainly similar to those of the Society and prohibit die payment of any dividend or profit to, and the distribution of any of their assets amongst, their members at least to the same extent as such payments or distributions are prohibited in the case of members of die Society by this memorandum of association.
Arrange and provide for, or join in arranging and providing for, the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars and training courses.Collect and disseminate information on all matters affecting such objects and exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects whether in this country or overseas.
Provided that the Society shall not support with its funds, or endeavour to impose on or procure to be observed by its members or others, any regulation or restriction which would make it a trade union.
To act as mediators, arbitrators and surveyors and arrange for arbitration in all matters of disputes, differences or claims in relation to the aforesaid matters or connected with the members of the Society and generally to do all other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objects of the society or any of them.
